$120 REASONS TO SUBSCRIBE TO WKR’S BLACK BOOK

Weekend King Racing’s BLACK BOOK service continues to prove hugely profitable to it’s subscribers!

We select horses who display high levels of ability (in our educated opinion) in barrier trials and then stick with them, knowing they’ve got the ability and it’s only a matter of time before they win at race, possibly at big (OR HUGE!!!) odds, like this one!

To Mitch Fenton,
This is notification of race results from your recent Black Book runners.

03 Nov 16 – FLEMINGTON Race 8
1st
LASQUETI SPIRIT
55.5kg
BRENTON AVDULLA (9)
L W CURTIS
3.8L
100-1

Your Black Book Comment: Still a miaden but will very soon shed that tag. Placed in listed race behind Prized Icon in Autumn beaten 2.2L who next start won a Gr1 easily. In Rosehill trial 19/7/16 the filly camped very deep the whole way but still finished off very nicely and did it all under own steam. Bred to run over longer distances.

BLACK BOOK SPECIAL – TUESDAY 16 AUGUST 2016

NEWCASTLE BEAUMONT

RACE 3

#13

STAR OF MONSOON

$2.00

NO FANCY ODDS HERE BUT IT’LL BE SHORT AND SWEET AND IF YOU WANT MY TOTALLY HONEST OPINION $2.00 IS FANCY ODDS!

SHOULD BE $1.33!

3 STARTS FOR A SECOND AND A THIRD BUT THE REGALLY BRED LONHRO COLT KEEPS BUMPING INTO GROUP 1 & 2 QUALITY HORSES! SO FAR IN THREE STARTS HIS FINISHED CLOSE UP BEHIND TSOME OF THE LIKES OF DEFCON, KISS AND MAKE UP, TESSERA, DECORATED SOILDER AND OVERSTEP.

LAST START OVERSTEP GOT THE GUN RUN AND HAD EVERY FAVOUR WHILE STAR OF MONSOON WAS STRUNG UP BACK IN THE PACK. WHEN FINALLY HE GOT CLEAR HE CHARGED TO RUN OVERSTEP TO 1.3L. SHE’S COME OUT SINCE AND RAN A VERY GOOD 2ND BEHIND GUN GODOLPHIN FILLY FLOURASHES, TO FRANK THAT RUN’S FORM.

NO STARS HERE, SO FROM GATE 5 MCEVOY CAN PARK HANDY, GET HER CLEAR ON STRAIGHTENING AND PUT THIS LOT TO THE SWORD! THEN THE $2.00 ON OFFER WILL BE LOOKING HUGE! NO SAYING HOW GOOD SHE REALLY IS, COULD BE GR2 / GR3 CLASS, MAYBE BETTER BUT ONE THING’S FOR SURE IS THIS IS AN EASY KILL IN A MAIDEN ON A TUESDAY AT NEWCASTLE!

NB 16/08/16: IF YOU HAD ANY DOUBTS AT ALL OVER STAR OF MONSOON SALUTING AT THE SHORT BUT SWEETS TODAY, THEY MUST SURELY GONE THE WAY OF THE DODO AFTER WHAT TRAINER GERALD RYAN TOLD ME LIVE FROM HIS ROSEHILL STABLES. HE SAID THE REGALLY BRED COLT WILL WIN TODAY FOR FOR THE HEAD TO MELBOURNE FOR THE GR3?CAULFIELD GUINEAS PRELUDE OVER 1400m. HE’S ULTRA CONFIDENT HE’LL MEASURE UP IN THAT RACE AS HE’S SUGGESTED TO ME HE’LL ALMOST CERTAINLY BE A RUNNER IN THE GROUP 1 CAULFIELD GUINEAS WHERE HE’S CURRENTLY A 40/1 SHOT. RYAN SUGGESTED OUR PUNTERS HAVE A NIBBLE AT THOSE ODDS AS HE FIRMLY BELIEVES THE HORSE IS UP TO THE TASK OF GROUP 1 LEVEL! 💰💰💰💰

BLACK BOOK

BEST OF THE DAY: Race 7 – 13 I’M BELUCCI

Race 3 – 7 MARKSFIELD: Matt Kropp Toowoomba galloper, was a very good run @ Doomben 29/8/15. Chariot of Gold led, dictated and won race. Highly fancied stablemate to winner was Beckham…It is very smart, as shown by previous form and the wrap on it from stable. But it had exact same run as Marksfield and only nosed it out on line (only difference being a 2kg claim on Marksfield). If Beckham is as smart as they say, then Marksfield is OK as well and has some nice wins to come soon.

Race 4 – 10 MORE FOR ME: Bombed start, circled widest and flew home. All & sundry would have seen the run, so steer clear next time when it’ll undoubtedly start under the odds….Stick with it beyond that though…Pretty handy for a galloper still eligible for Class 1.

Race 5 – 1 HARADA BAY: 29/08/15 — Class 6 LIM 54…1600m – Doomben – Good 3 — The leaders dictated the tempo in-front, PUNTA NORTE was heavily backed was unchallenged, led and dictated to win and win easily. HARADA BAY was forced back to last from the bad alley, took off before the bend out very deep to make ground, but really hit the line well once he balanced up in the home straight. Can win very soon when he draws well / in the right grade/race.

Race 6 – 4 DIDNTCOSTALOT: Got everything his own way when winning 1110m Open Handicap 29/8/15 Doomben, leading all the way as is his pattern. Will cop a weight penalty but I think he can string a few wins together on end now, correctly placed. Might even be able to pinch a race down south during the Spring around the listed / gr3 level, given right conditions.  He’s twice been placed in Listed races, he’s run Bel Sprinter to 2.5L in a Gr2 and run Buffering to 3.5L in a Gr1, so he’s pretty handy on his day between the 1000m & 1100m range.

Race 7 – 13 I’M BELUCCI*****: RUN OF THE DAY – Doomben 29/09/15. 3yo H’Çap, 1200m.
Slowly away, looked 1/2 by design…1/2 as it unfolded….Completely out sped early. Had to take off before the corner to start making ground, once it balanced up in straight and hit top gear it ate up ground late in a terrific show of sprint. Debuted over 1110m here and did same, 1200m today, but clearly still needs further. Follow this Captain Sonador colt everywhere he goes, once he gets out over more ground he’ll win plenty of races or even to the Sunshine Coast which has the big straight.
