THE BEST BET OF THE YEAR – APRIL 16, 2016
Ever since this highly talented two year old colt trialled and then debuted we’ve been counting down the days until THIS race for him and come race day today he’s in mint condition….. so theres no hesitation in in declaring him the best single bet of the year for 2016!!!!
He’s always shown a tonne of promise he just needed to get out to the mile — he does that today!!!!!
He’s a genuine miler and he finally gets a crack at that distance today, he won’t let us down punters !!!!
We are so supremely confident, we have billed this bet, the BET OF THE YEAR FOR 2016!!!!!!
He debuted with a slashing 3rd in the Breeders Plate last October over the unsuitable 1000m trip.
His last 600m that day was the 2nd fastest in the race, the only horse that went quicker was Golden Slipper winner Capitalist, who was far better suited to the 1000m trip.
Cummings then tipped him out for a 112 day spell.
He trialled twice before again resuming over the far too short journey of 1000m. He sat 3 and 4 deep the trip that day and was afforded no favours in the run whatsoever. Despite the horrid run in transit he still clocked the fastest last 800, 600, 400 & 200m splits in the race. His last 200m was particularly eye catching. The winner of the race was Scarlett Rain who would remain undefeated until running in the Golden Slipper.
Next up over 1100m he again ran very well finishing 2nd behind Telperion who started favourite in the Sires Produce off the back of a great slipper run. Prized Icon was simply out dashed again over the 1100m in another clear indication he was crying out for more ground.
He put in another 2 very solid runs in the Group 3’s, The Black Opal and The Schweppervescence. However again he just wasn’t able to wind up and produce the devastating sprint he clearly has.
Last week in the Fernhill though he showed his real ability when finally stepping out to the 1600m. He sat up on the pace and sprinted quickly to dispose of what was only an average field, but he beat them with arrogance!
If the track is soft that posses no concern his Fernhill win was on a Soft 5.
From gate 7 Schoefield can almost pick where he goes, although in a race devoid of too much speed it’s likely he’ll again rol forward and be in the first two. This is his grand final and has been all along! We’ll see the nest of him tomorrow and he will be winning!!!!
It’s luxury odds and the long wait for this day to come will well prove worth the wait!!!!
$4.20 is an absolute fill up!!!!!
We are so confident he’ll win, that if the unthinkable happens and he doesn’t….. We’ll give every follower a one month FREE subscription to our PRO TIPS valued at $300!!!!! NO STRINGS!!
