Two critical Game 4’s in the NBA Playoffs this Sunday/Monday, the 5th/6th of May as the Blazers host the Nuggets and the 76ers face off against the Raptors.

A better offensive showing in Game 3
After winning Game 1 in dominant fashion, the Raptors have gone on to drop the next two games in their series against the 76ers. They were comfortably handled by 21 points in Game 3 in Philly and will be away from home once again in Game 4. Jimmy Butler has been a massive factor for the 76ers, scoring 22 points with 9 rebounds and 9 assists in Game 3 to go with his 30 point performance in Game 2. Raptors coach Nick Nurse has been persistent with playing the former defensive player of the year Kawhi Leonard on Ben Simmons but we think he makes the adjustment this game to shut down Butler’s efficiency. The Raptors look like a different team when Kawhi has rested against Philly and with the series on the line in Game 4 we think he plays upwards of 44 minutes. The star forward is averaging 37.7 points per game in the series and can change a game defensively. Back the Raptors to bounce back here on the back of Kawhi.
Bet: Raptors +1.5 ($1.97)
Denver Nuggets (LWWLL) ($2.30) at Portland Trail Blazers (WWLWW) ($1.63)
Lillard to dominate massive Game 4
The Blazers and Nuggets played out one of the all-time epic playoff games on Saturday as Portland took a 2-1 series after a ridiculous four overtimes. The final score read 140-137 in Portland as shooting guard C.J. McCollum went off for 41 points. Denver star centre Nikola Jokic had a monster triple-double with 33 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists and broke the all-time record for minutes in a playoff game with a whopping 65. The win for the Blazers sets up a critical Game 4 at home with a chance to take what has historically been an unassailable 3-1 lead. I’m finding it a bit tougher to find a winner here, especially after the marathon game the two teams played on Saturday. One thing that I am confident of, however, is Dame’s ability in big games. The star point guard exploded for 50 points including a massive game-winner in the closeout game against OKC in the first round. Should step up with the spotlight on Monday.
