USING OFFICIAL UK FLUCTUATIONS ACCORDING TO SPORTSBET (PADDY POWER)

Race 1 Queen Anne Stakes:

#1 Able Friend $3.25 into $2.80. That money has caused favourite Solow to ease slightly, it touched $2.40 but is now 20c better at $2.60

Race 2 Coventry Stakes:

Coolmore runner #2 Air Force Blue for Aidan O’Brien & Ryan Moore has been very well backed, he was $8 now into $6.

#8 Finnegan has been $8 into $7

Favourite #14 Round Two has been very solid in the market. Was $3.25 into $3 at one stage now just back out to $3.10 but a clear popular elect

Race 3 King’s Stand Stakes:

#1 G Force has been very solidly backed, after going up $15 he’s now into $10 and if the money trail is any guide he’ll start well into single figures.

#2 Goldream has had specking at big each way odds, he’s been $34 into $26.

#12 Sole Power, the race favourite has been $4.50 into $4 and is a very well backed favourite.

There’s been a trickle of money for #17 Mecca’s Angel, $8 into $7.50

Aussie #18 Shamal Wind has attracted some decent sized bets and has firmed a full point from $8 into $7

All in all it’s been an oustanding betting race so far with punters unable to decide on one runner, but by far the best backed runner is the top weight #1 G Force

Race 4 St James’s Palace Stakes:

#4 Gleneagles the short priced favourite stifles the betting here. He’s been fairly solid in the market but punters certainly aren’t launching themselves into the odds-on quote. He went up $1.61 & is now out a roll to $1.66

#6 Make Believe has been well backed against the favourite he’s been $4.33 to $3.75. So punters certainly aren’t backing this short priced favourite as though it’s unbeatable.

Race 5 Ascot Stakes:

Only 2 horses in the huge 20 horse field have firmed, both attracting specking at double figured odds.

#13 Broxbourne has firmed a point $13 into $12 & bottom-weight #20 Digeanta has been $15 into $12

It’s 7/1 the field but, so looks as usual a very tough betting affair.

Race 6 Windsor Castle Stakes:

There’s been a very good move for #20 Steady Peace. It opened $11 and is now down to $7.50.

Race favourite #21 Washington DC has firmed up a half point from $6 into $5.50. He look’s like he’ll go off the favourite.

Down the bottom #25 Opal Tiara has been very well backed at each way odds, He did initially drift to $21 after going up $17, but there’s been a substantial move as it’s firmed up to $14

SUMMARY:

The best backed runner early for Day 1 of Royal Ascot is no doubt Race 3 – #1 G FORCE who has been $15 into $10 and still represents great value if your wanting to back one at odds.
